Sooo….every time I think of this sweet girl, I hear Whoopi and the nuns singing “Ohhhh Maaa-Reeee-Uh!” in Sister Act. No joke. (Sorry Maria!)
Maria is one of my unique Senior Spokesmodels. She was homeschooled and so she and mama reached out to me her SENIOR year for photos. Since it was the first year, I was asking girls to apply rather than waiting for apps to come in. She was super excited to join and we’ve been friends ever since.
Maria’s family lived on an acreage, affectionately called “The Outback,” near Palmyra, NE for most of her life. When we met, they were in the process of selling it but wanted to shoot Maria’s senior session on the land. How could I not?
As we walked The Outback during my site visit, Maria shared so many of her childhood memories with me. Listening to her love of this place made my eyes well up and my heart swell. It reminded me of “the Farm” my dad grew up on and took me back to my own childhood memories. What a wonderful place for a child to grow.
I’m sure Maria misses that place but I am so happy she has these photos as a reminder of such a sweet childhood.
Oh Maria! We love you! Outback Memories💕
Thank you Rebecca Marie for capturing this very special place and time in our lives💕. You’re the Best!💕
